The # 5 SPECIAL BRIDGER LONG-SPRING TRAP has a 7 1/2 inch outside to outside jaw spread, heavy base plate, excellent heavy jaws and springs, heavy duty drowner lock on end of 12" 5 m.m. straight link chain. This is the best beaver leg hold trap for the money on the market today. This trap is excellent for beaver, otter, coyotes, also wolves and cougar where it is legal. This trap can be set while standing on a beaver dam or in the water. It has more base, easy to bed. You do not have to reach in jaws to set, has adjustable round pan. Bridger traps are now having their springs made in Taiwan, heat-treated and assembled in the U.S.
