Fiberglass Fleshing Beam
A trapper/fur dealer who has used this item for years with no noticeable wear has designed this fleshing beam. It will last the trapper a lifetime of normal use. The beam is constructed of reinforced fiberglass, the same as used in the construction of canoes and boats. The beam is hollow to fit the 2"x8" piece of lumber. This allows the trapper to place the beam at any angle or height. A fleshing beam saves hours and makes fleshing of pelts easier and more enjoyable. The size of the beam is: Length 43" Width at base 8", Width at tip 2" Base thickness 2 7/8", Tip 7/8". This fleshing beam would be a welcome addition to any trappers' equipment.
Note: PCS Outdoors also carries the Pre-trimmed 2"x8" Wooden Insert which is designed to go with the Fiberglass Fleshing Beam.
This beam is not a full fiberglass beam. The backside of the beam is hollow.
