Smackdown SST Bullets- This kit includes
.50 caliber/250 grain weight/.45 diameter Smackdown SST bullets with EZ Load 3
petal sabots, stored in two reusable ammo tubes. The proprietary green spire
point polymer tip increases ballistic coefficient for improved velocity and
accuracy. The tapered copper jacket is interlocked with its lead core for
controlled expansion on impact. The EZ Load 3 petal sabots provide a superior
gas seal and reduced overlap, resulting in easier and more accurate loading.
Designed by Hornady for optimal performance under muzzleloading velocities.
Instructions For Use:
IMPORTANT: When loading a bullet, be sure
to use a loading jag that will not damage the aerodynamic tip of the bullet. If
the wrong jag is used, poor accuracy may result.
Express Charge N' Load- The Traditions
Charge N' Load is a handy container specially designed to hold.50 cal. saboted
bullets and pelletized powder. One end holds your saboted bullets snuggly and
perfectly aligned, while the other end can hold up to 150 grains of premeasured
powder of Pyrodex pellets. Once loaded properly, the exposed end of the saboted
bullet can be used as a ball starter with a quick pump of the hand against the
rubber cap.
Instructions For Use:
Loading the bullet into the loader:
- Set the bullet on a flat, hard surface and
push the serrated end of the loader over the saboted bullet
Loading powder charge into the loader:
- Flip open the rubber cap and pour the
pre-measured powder charge into the open cavity. If you are using Pyrodex
pellets be sure the black igniter end of the pellet is pointing up towards
the cavity opening. This will ensure that when the pellets are poured into
the barrel, the black igniter end is properly placed for ignition.
- Close the rubber end of the cap to hold the
powder in the cavity.
Using Loader to load a firearm:
- Be sure the firearm is unloaded and
deprimed with the safeties on before loading.
- Flip rubber end cap open and pour the
premeasured powder charge into the barrel.
- Place the exposed end of the bullet over
the muzzle of the barrel.
- Push the bullet starter down to load the
bullet into the barrel
- Remove the loader and use a ramrod to push
the bullet sown the barrel until it is firmly seated on top of the powder
charge
Caution: Maker sure projectile is fully
seated on top of powder charge. Consult your firearms manual for proper
instructions on loading, shooting, and cleaning. Always wear eye and ear
protection when loading or shooting.
209 Capper- This lightweight, synthetic
209 capper holds a primer on each end and three in the middle for reserves. One
end is straight for use with break-open and non-scoped guns while the other end
is angled for use with scoped guns.
Instructions For Use:
- Depress 209 primers into the body of the
capper for storage.
- Select the correct end of the capper for
your firearm.
- Load the primer in the desired end of the
capper and then insert the 209 primer into the breech plug cup and pull
capper away from primer.
- The small hole in the body of the capper
can be used to attach a lanyard for easy carrying.
- A lanyard can be attached to the forth
smaller hole in the body of the capper for hands free carrying on your
person.
Deluxe Bullet Starter- The deluxe
bullet starter can be used with all 10/32" threads. The polymer plastic,
T-handle ball starter is designed for loading your muzzleloader and much more.
The hollow end of the T-handle doubles as a palm saver. The female adapter can
be used with any of your 10/32" threaded accessories. For a quick range rod
remove the adapter and the jag and then use the T-handle extension alone with
with any 10/32" threaded ramrod for a quick range rod. The brass jag comes
equipped with a concave tip designed to load all types of bullets without
deforming the tips. This is a lightweight and easy to carry, all purpose tool.
Instructions For Use:
Bullet Starter:
- Make sure firearm is pointed in a safe
direction and away from you and others.
- Place bullet with base side down into the
muzzle.
- Use starter to press bullet down inside the
barrel, then remove the starter.
- Use ramrod to finish seating the bullet on
top of the powder charge.
Ramrod Extension:
- Remove jag and adapter from bullet starter.
- Thread the male end of the bullet starter
into the ramrod.
Palm Saver:
- Use hollow side of T-handle to place over
ramrod when loading. This will allow you to put more pressure on the
projectile when loading.

on top of powder charge. Consult your firearms manual for proper instructions on
loading, shooting, and cleaning. Always wear eye and ear protection when loading
or shooting.
